CHINESE 18/19TH CENTURY POWDER BLUE JAR. This is a fine quality Chinese powder blue jar with a nice form and very good dark blue color. We think that this is probably early 18th century from the construction and color also you can see a blue tint to the white upper edge which in the early 18th century the powder blue was blown on the porcelain through a tube and the blue around the white edge was most likely from the blown powder. This jar is in good condition with no damage.
