Wang Zhujiu scroll of Wistera and Butterflies, with two seals '嶦农' and ‘’家在南阳古定陵', the latter of which, inscribed dedication form the artist to Mr Tian Yi, the picture approximately 180cm x 47cm Wang Zhujiu (1900-1966) was a Chinese painter born in Henan and began receiving artistic training from Qi Baishi from 1929 in Beijing. Featuring fine brushwork in a freely expressive style that Wang inherited from his mentor, his work was exhibited in the Palace Museum and the National Art Museum of China.
