Monumental Exquisite Antique beautifully sculptured Amphora Austrian pottery vase with Cherubs & Flowers 21-3/4 inches high. This is an exquisite piece and also a very rare one, the only model like this we have had the pleasure to purchase and offer for sale. It is a museum quality sculpture guaranteed to please the most advanced Amphora collector or connoisseur. It measures 21-3/4 inches high by 12 inches widest width. The cherub on the top is resting on the vase looking down as he sniffs the wonderful fragrance of the beautiful flowers. The second cherub appears to be climbing the side of the vase and holding on to the flowers that adorn the vase. The vase looks almost like a corn design with ribbons going through and around the upper section of the vase with a large bow at one side. It has incised numbers and Amphora markings along with a glazed and numbered signature and markings on the underside. Please see pictures for close up details. It is hard to believe this are in such wonderful condition considering the delicacy of the flower buds and petals that decorate this unique and very ornate sculpture.
