Cheng Shifa (1921-2007, Chinese), inscribed with 1 artist seal; 46 cm x 73 cm, Cheng Shifa was a Chinese painter best known for his works depicting figures, landscapes, and flowers. His eclectic style merged traditional Chinese wash techniques with Western drawing aesthetics. Today, his works are held in the collections of the China Art Museum in Shanghai and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
