A TERRACOTTA HEAD, PROBABLY OF BUDDHA, KASHMIR, 6TH/7TH CENTURY with elongated eyes, arched eyebrows and small pointed chin, mounted 17cm high The very distinctive style of this head, from either a Buddha or Bodhisattva image, closely relates to a number of fine bronze images of the same period.
