Maharaja Sarabhoji of Tanjore (also known as Serfoji II), 1777–1832, reigned from 1787 until his death in 1832. He was the last ruler of the Bhonsle dynasty. As a child he was entrusted to the care of the Danish reverent and missionary Christian Freidrich Schwartz.
