Description: dating: 16th - 17th Century provenance: Tibet, Wooden structure, composed of four pieces, front and back parts and visible parts of the base elements are covered with gilded, brass plaques, richly pierced, chiselled and engraved with dragons, peacocks and floral motifs, and adorned with some semi-precious cabochon stones. Red, silk saddle cover, embroidered with dragons, lined and provided with four, gilded, brass studs, pierced and decorated en suite with the other plaques. Complete with a pair of brass stirrups, decorated with dragon's heads. Extremely scarce. length 51 cm.
