Thailand, Sawankhalok/ Sukhothia, 15th century CE. Cute pair of miniature ceramic jars from early Thailand. Each in coarse pottery with gray slip and black decorations. First is a small lidded jar with fruit in relief on top, floral pattern in black. Next is a small jar with tapered rim and unglazed foot, concentric circles and "chevrons" on side. Size of largest - Size: 1.75" H (4.4 cm).
