A Japanese African ivory manju netsuke depicting fierce samurai warrior wielding a sword in each hand, donning fanciful garments. The intaglio carving is deep and very crisp, and the netsuke has mellowed to a gorgeous honey color. Manju netsukes are shaped like a manju, a flat, round Japanese confection akin to a mini donut!
