Pre-Columbian, northcentral coastal Peru, ca 900 to 1300 CE. A very fine textile panel, probably from a coca bag, in shades of red, tan, gold and off-white in the form of two standing warriors. Each wears an elaborate headdress and appear to carry knives in each hand. Long tassels adorn the bottom of the textile. Custom framed and ready to display!
