A RARE OCTAGONAL FAMILLE VERTE ‘CHILONG’ BISCUIT JARDINIéRE, KANGXISturdily potted with a sprawling lip, modelled with a lobed rim and four ruyi shaped feetChina, Kangxi period (1668-1722) The outer walls neatly painted in famille verte enamels with a circumferential scroll of sinuous Chilong amid sprays of lotus enhanced in iron-red above the glaze. The upper side of the rim with a blossom- and diaper-border containing swastika and various sorts of blossoms. The ruyi feet are molded with their outlines in high relief. The inside and the based are glazed in white. Several spur marks to base.Old box with inscription. Matching old stand made of reticulated bentwood.
