Early 19th century Signed: Issan A turtle with a slightly raised head, around which a snake winds twice around the whole animal including its shell, its head stretched behind the slightly raised head of the turtle. Boxwood, very finely carved and engraved, the scales of the reptile and the shell finely engraved and with dark accents. The eyes of both animals inlaid with black horn.
