Johnston & Co., the lidded top with raised carved gadroon edged plinth and angle edge with reverse inlaid mother-of-pearl foliate plaques and corners, over tapered body with matching inlay and matching carved gadroon base, flanked by turned rosewood circular handles, raised on squat ball feet, the interior fitted with two mahogany caddy containers with rosewood tops and silver foil lining, retains original manufacturer's label.
