A PAIR OF SèVRES STYLE PARCEL GILT COBALT BLUE GROUND VASES, IMPRESSED NUMBERS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, each of oviform and gilt shoulders of trellis and scrolling foliage, above oval reserves with polychrome painted scenes of a courting youth and maiden amidst a romantic landscape, flanked by paired acanthus modeled handles issuing vertical arms centering beaded discs, enclosing a short trumpet form neck with trellis and lappet panel banding beneath a similarly detailed rim ending in beaded trim, raised on an acanthus leaf collared base and domed socle continuing trellis and bead decoration, within a ribbon wrapped rod border, over an underside with impressed "A / 42" and "1 / 19," one with retailer's overglaze gilt crowned "Aich / Karlsbad."
