A FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE GILT BRONZE MOUNTED PORCELAIN "VASE MEDICIS," 20TH CENTURY, the cobalt blue glazed krater form porcelain vase with the Arms of Louis XVI in gilt to the neck, with three fleurs-de-lis below crown, surrounded by the orders of Saint Michel and the Saint Esprit, to either side chased cast gilt bronze acanthus form scrolled handles, at the rim gilt bronze lappet decorated mount, a banded reed gilt bronze mount to the center, and a flowering radiating acanthus leaf mount at the base, raised on separate socle base, the spreading foot encased with gilt bronze flowering acanthus mount terminating in squared plinth with oval recessed panels and gilt foliate decoration.
