Europe (Italian content; British and French printed), 1767 CE. This is the third volume of a set, printed on mottled calfskin, with the spine in five compartments and gilded details on the cover and spine. The edges of the pages are also gilt and there is an engraved title page.
This is a rare antiquarian book. It was printed in London and Paris by the Prault Press, run by Pierre Prault and Jean Michel Moreau; it is in Italian. The book is a heroic, comic poem written in verse by Niccolò Forteguerri (1674 to 1735), a Tuscan cardinal and poet. Size: .75" L x 3.35" W x 5.75" H (1.9 cm x 8.5 cm x 14.6 cm).
