The bowl is finely decorated and gilt with two large panels enclosing ladies and scholars at leisure, separated by two smaller panels enclosing birds and flowers, all reserved on a gilt scroll ground. The interior is decorated with a flower spray.

Condition: There are some small chips to the rim and foot, some rubbing to the gilt decoration and enamels.
There are some fine glaze crackles.
