The sceptre is decorated to the ruyi-shaped head with a moulded section decorated with a bat, the middle section and base are each decorated with a moulded and pierced panel enclosing bats to one and a kui dragon to the other. The body of the sceptre is decorated with a ground of lotus scrolls. The reverse is enamelled turquoise and bears an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
Condition: There are areas of the head of the sceptre which fluoresce under the UV light however unable to tell if it has been restored.
Light wear and small flakes to the enamels and gilding.
