Description: Chinese cinnabar vase dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The rim is flattened to act as a stand, and the rim has Greek key and ruyi bands carved along the outer edge. The interior of the rim is carved with a band of floral tracery. The body of the vase is carved with flowers surrounding 4 roundels carved with alternating scenes of flowers and people in a landscape. There is another band of flower tracery around the foot. Dimensions are: 10 inches tall X 12 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
