Three Japanese Meiji period carved ivory okimonos, one depicting a man seated upon a Dog of Fo with a further dog beside rocks, with associate bone base carved with character marks, height 20.5cm, a man carrying branches, inset lacquered seal to the base, and a net maker, height 23cm (all af) (3). CONDITION REPORT: The net maker figure has been broken in approximately one third of the height and crudely reglued, the man carrying branches has losses to items held in his hands, left hand has been broken off and reglued, some losses to the branches and leaves, left foot broken off and crudely reglued with some losses to outside part, the base reglued to the right foot, the figure group with Dogs of Fo with losses to the top (blade of the sword held by man) and to piece of his robe to the back, all with surface wear and some natural splits.
