Description: Breguet – Grand Complication — 250th anniversary, minute repeating, perpetual calendar tourbillon, yellow-gold, accompanied with the original Breguet certificate Material: Yellow-gold 18K Reference N°: 3857 Year: Circa 1997 Case N°: 1856H Number 1751 Caliber: 722, manual Bracelet: Leather strap with yellow-gold 18k Breguet buckle Dimensions: 40 mm Signed: Case, dial, movement and buckle Accessories: Accompanied by the original certificate, instruction book. Breguet 250th anniversary, minute repeating perpetual calendar tourbillon, yellow gold. Ref. 3857. Made in a limited production in 1997 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Louis Breguet (1747–1823). Extremely fine and rare, minute repeating, 18k yellow-gold wristwatch, with visible one-minute tourbillon, jump hours, perpetual calendar with retrograde date, leap-year indication and a Breguet 18k yellow-gold buckle. Case in three-body, solid, polished, curved bezel, coin-edge band, straight lugs, transparent back, sapphire crystals. Dial guilloche silvered gold, jump-hour aperture with black Arabic numerals on a matte gilt ground, minutes chapter with Arabic numerals and dot markers, concentric retrograde date sector with blued steel triangular pointer, subsidiary dials for days of the week and the months, small aperture for leap year indicator, seconds track around the tourbillon aperture with dot markers, the seconds hand mounted directly on the top of the upper pivot, secret signature. Blued steel Breguet hand and movement 13 1/2’, cal. 556 QPRT, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 29 jewels, one-minute tourbillon with three equidistant polished steel arms, polished steel bridge, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. This extremely rare watch in superb condition, accompanied by its original certificates is a true masterpiece of high end “horlogerie” and a must have for top collectors.
