The hands of the important Lama of the Sakya school of the Tibetan Buddhism showing the dharmachakra mudra and holding the stems of two long lotus flowers with a vajra and a bell on their blossoms. Seated in dhyana-asana on a double lotus throne. Wearing a goatee and the typical headgear of a Sakya Lama and a monastic robe. Bottom covered with copper consecration plate with embossed double vajra seal. Signs of age and wear.
