A late Victorian 18ct gold shell brooch. Comprising three circular dyed mother-of-pearl cabochons, with cannetille surrounds and spacers, to the plain bar. Length 4.6cms. Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.Mother-of-pearl with wear to some sections, appears light brownish grey hue.Minor dents to the cannetille.Base metal pin.Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals.
