The bronze cherub-like figure stands in a contrapposto position. Lost in a moment and full of thought, his eyes fall downward, as he slowly drops the apple from his mouth. A fabric banner sinuates around his left leg demonstrating the application of the Classical sense into the composition. He was molded using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and finished with a brown patina stain for preservation. The sculpture is mounted upon a black marble base with the artist A. Moreau's signature. Size: 13" x 5"Weight: 8 lbs
