a Meissen-style teapot decorated to each side with an iron-red cartouche monogrammed with the gilt letters, all below a winged cherub holding a floral garland on a cloud spray. The shoulder and foot are encircled with a blue-enamelled and gilt European-style band. The cover is similarly decorated and is surmounted by a gilt lotus-bud finial.

There is restoration to the handle and spout, and associated overpainting to the rim and body.
There is a thin hairline visible to the body (approx. 3 cm. long).
With expected wear to the enamels and gilding.
