Description: Pair of large Japanese Meiji period vases decorated with birds and flower blossoms. Baluster vases have long necks with elephant trunk double handles and a lobed body. The circumference of the bases are decorated with birds perched on blossoming peony branches cast in high relief and highlighted with mixed metal finishes. Excellent condition (minor wear to finish, once lamps). Measure 9" dia x 19" tall.
