Franz Xaiver Bergman (1861-1936) cold painted bronze grouping depicts a goddess-like woman riding in an intricate sleigh, her dress drags in the snow and she wears a crown with crescent moon; the sleigh has fancy pierced decoration with faux lantern in the front, lions heads at the ends of the arms and a high back panel with 4 panel lamp decorated with an umbrella of branches and leaves, hunting theme mounts and eagle finial. The slay is drawn by a large deer stag harnessed with a yoke and has bells on its back. On a 2 tier marble base with white layer resembling snow. Excellent condition, signed with Bergman urn with “B” foundry mark under the stag and woman. 18 in. high x 20.75 in. wide x 6.25 in. deep. Weight: 31.5 lbs.
