Finely potted with a quatre-lobed pear shaped body tapering to a narrow neck to a?lobed mouth rim, freely inscribed?around the body with a calligraphy poem written in running script, the neck with upright plantains with a 'classic' scroll band inside the rim, a?border of?petal lappets enclosing?'cloud' motifs?above a 'classic' scroll?encircling the foot, the underglaze blue of characteristic greyish?tone?well accented with areas of 'heaping and piling', the base glazed, 12.6 inch high.
