Hamilton, Wishaw” has black Roman hour numerals, 4 in. sub seconds dial over a 4 in. sub calendar dial, pierced and engraved gilt brass hands; corner spandrels and dial arch are painted with wonderful country homestead scenes. Has a typical brass 8 day weight driven movement with hour rack and snail strike on a bell on top of the movement, solid brass pulleys, iron weights and long steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob. In a wide mahogany floor standing case with turned and carved columns, scroll & pediment crest and beautiful banded inlays throughout. Has an enhanced original finish, very clean; crack in lower front panel, cracks in bonnet glass, bob brass has cracking and loss, minor molding losses, missing calendar hand. 94 in. high x 24 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.
