Description: Two 19th C. wooden trinket boxes: one painted in Pennsylvania manner on pine, oblong, hinged lied, raised on four flattened ball feet, surface decorated in primary yellow, blue red and green with floral clusters and sprays, extensive paint loss and later in-painting, interior repainted, on replaced foot, one dowel and edge of lid lost where originally hinged, top checked, 6 3/4" h. x 12 3/4" w. x 8 1/4" d.; and leather covered wooden box with brass ring on lid, brad lined borders, hand-made nails, loose top, wear and small damages, 4 1/2" h., both pieces as-is.
