Description: (3 PC) MANTEL CLOCK GARNITURE SET
Late 19th c. French (3) Piece Mantel Clock and Garniture Set, with two vases, gilded metal mounts on pink marble bases, clock with 8-day time and strike spring driven French movement (pendulum present, but no key), maker's name illegible, white floral decorated enamel dial marked for retailer 'S. Michel, 64, Rue Royale, Orleans', atop the clock is a patinated spelter metal replica of "Au Champ", a sculpture by Aristide De Ranieri (France, 1880-1914) with title plate, vases are patinated spelter metal, clock: 23 1/4" high, 11 1/2" x 6 1/4", each vase: 15" high, 5 3/4" x 5". Top statue loose, clock observed running.
