Description: PAINTED FIREHOUSE ARMCHAIR
New England, circa 1840, in ochre paint with gold and black pinstriping, Sheraton form rail with painted fruit and leaves, six-spindle back, natural finish scrolled arms resting on three spindles, shaped and pinstriped seat resting on splayed turned legs and turned box stretchers. 16" seat, 27" arms, 32" back, 22 1/2" x 20". Some paint loss.
