Late 19th-early 20th century AD. A carved spinach jade cup in a Mughal style with bell-shaped bowl, basal ring, S-scrolled handle with slot to the outer face, running scrolls and tendrils to the sidewall and lotus petals to the lower edge. 253 grams, 14cm (5 1/2"). From the family collection of a Hampstead gentleman; formerly acquired in the 1980s. Very fine condition.
