Three (3) Asian bronze figurals. 1st item: Bronze seated Sukothai Buddha figure, depicted in the Dhyana Mudra pose atop a pedestal and mounted onto a wood base (7 1/2" H w/base). 20th century label underneath attributes it to the 14th century. 2nd item: bronze figural hinged container, possibly an incense burner, in the form of the Goddess Lakshmi riding atop an elephant (11 1/4" H x 6 3/4" W x 7 1/4" D). 19th century. 3rd item: Bronze deity, likely Thai, depicted standing with a top knot, painted eyes, gold earrings and tassel (13" H). 19th century. Provenance: The Estates of Olen Bryant and the late Vanderbilt University art professor Thomas Brumbaugh, Clarksville, Tennessee. CONDITION: Several fissures to body and face of Sukothai Buddha.
