The Seamaster ref.166.068 is definitely unique among Omega divers' watches. The 'banana' colour of the dial was designed to increase visibility in submerged conditions. It is thought that this reference may have been worn by French military divers and a significant number of these watches were irreversibly damaged because the divers did not screw in the crown properly, which then caused the watch to explode under pressure. The red and black bezel is also not common on Omega references.
