Description: Masriera 2.00ct Ruby Cabochon, 0.70ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Ring W/Enamel Details - This beautiful ring was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold by the master artisans of renowned jeweler Masriera. The ring has an elegant design with a 2.00ct cabochon ruby in the center of the piece bordered by two outer rows containing approx. 0.70ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G brilliant round cut diamonds. The ring is then finished with gorgeous enamel work adorning two foliate details mounted in the center of the band on either side of the ruby, finishing the piece beautifully. The ring is also embellished with delicate millgrain details and a matte gold finish, further alluding to the master craftsmanship of the piece. Louis Masriera began making dramatic enamel and gold jewelry in Barcelona at the very beginning of the Art Nouveau movement. His first bold designs premiered in 1839 in the front window of his family's jewelry store, and was a great success. His family still carries on the enamel technique and tradition today. These stunning original Art Nouveau designs have been hand made in Spain, in uninterrupted production for the last 174 years, and each Masriera jewel is a masterwork of design and technique. The brand is synonymous for culture, art, history and, at the same time, uniqueness, innovation and the avant-garde. The ring measures 17mm wide (at the widest point) and is signed "Masriera" on the inside of the band. Ring size: 6. (WEIGHT: 8.9 grams)
