Description: 36.85ct Pear Cut Opal, 3.30ctw Blue Sapphire & Solid 14K White Gold 18" Necklace W/0.70ctw Diamond Accents (Comes W/16,500 Appraisal) - This beautiful necklace is made of solid 14k white gold, and is comprised of a 2.25" pendant which hangs on an 18" chain. The pendant boasts a massive 36.85ct genuine pear cut opal, and is also decorated with approx. 3.30ctw brilliant round cut blue sapphires. The sapphires line the perimeter of the pendant and the center of the bale, and are set in a lovely graduated design with smaller gemstones at the top and larger gemstones at the bottom of the piece. The pendant is then finished with approx. 0.70ctw genuine SI1-SI2/G-H diamond accents surrounding the opal and lining the outer perimeter of the bale, finishing the piece beautifully. This piece has excellent investment potential, as the amazing opal displays a clean white background and has a broad flash pattern with green, blue, yellow, and orange flashes. Opals are one of the most brittle stones in the world, and stones of this size usually get broken, or damaged. This piece has absolutely no chips, or damage to the stone. This is not a doublet, and is a solid opal of the highest quality. (WEIGHT: 18.3 grams) Please note: This piece will come with a 16,500 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser.
