A large Meissen figure of a shepherdess mid 18th century, holding a lamb on her left hip, a small posy of flowers in her right hand, raised on a tall scrolled base with puce detailing, blue crossed swords mark to the back of the base, some good restoration, 29.5cm.Provenance: from a private collection in Northamptonshire.Cf.
