A very rare Derby figure of a Russian Shepherdess c.1790, leaning on a tree stump and holding a fringed shawl around her, raised on a circular base edged in gilt, incised No. 393 to the base, some good restoration, 27.5cm.Cf. Examples of this single figure are scarce, but have also been recorded in biscuit.
