H:60CM W:58CM This extremely large Usnisavijaya is shown seated in dhyanasana on a beaded lotus base with two primary hands in varadamudra, the other accompanying arms holding other different attributes including a drum, lotus stalk, bow and arrow respectively. The figure is set below a crown inset with hardstones, enclosing the hair upswept into a double chignon and secured by a leaf-form finial, wearing a gold wrapped embroidered cloak and two yellow ground thin fabric ribbon embellished with shou symbol draping over the lotus base. Partial of the figure including the face, hands and ears are gold painted as the rest are bronze gilt. The Bodhisattvas falling into this category usually can be seen in large Buddhist Temple.
