A Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl from the Kangxi Period with gentle ridges on the exterior/ flutes on the interior that lead to a series of peaks and valley on the lip. The exterior of the bowl has four scenes of court officials conversing in two patterns (repeating scenes with different sets of poses). These are interspersed with images of flowering plum branches beside bamboo shoots. The well of the bowl has a circular image of another flowering plant growing from rocky ground.
