Description: A finely carved Chinese white jade vase with a lotus lid dating from the 18th century. The lid is carved with a lotus finial and 11 petals above a flowering branch. The vase is carved with 2 dragon handles with carved rings above 2 lion heads with engaged rings. There are 2 smaller lion heads with engaged rings in the front and back. The body is carved on the front with a pheasant flying above a flowering tree and bamboo, the back is carved with an orchid growing by a rock. Dimensions are: 9 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches wide.
