Description: A hexagonal Chinese Yixing ceramic teapot with a pewter and jade encasing. It has a 6-character Yang Pengnian mark in the interior, and the handle, finial, and spout are jade. It dates to the early 19th century. The sides of the exterior are incised with a bird in a flowering tree and an inscription. Dimensions are: 3 1/4 inches tall X 7 inches wide.
