Description: Three Japanese cloisonné cabinet vases
Meiji period, late 19th/early 20th century
All incorporating silver wires, compring two of hexagonal ovoid section with slender waisted neck, the first, attributed to a member of the Hattori family, decorated with iris against a midnight blue ground, underside with stamped mark; the second, in the manner of Ando Jubei, delicately decorated with panels of flowers and various birds, flower and scroll neck, black ground; the last, of rounded square section, decorated with a pair of cranes amongst profuse flowers, on a black ground with polychrome designs to the neck.
