Meiji eraThe first carved as a reclining actor with oni mask pushed back to eat, a boy begging for some food behind him, bone inlaid eyes and horns, signed, 3.7cm long; a rabbit with ears lying flat along its body, eyes inlaid with amber, 4.3cm long, a wooden netsuke of a monkey on a large abalone shell, 6cm long; a lacquered wooden netsuke of a nesting crane, the head and beak in bone, illegible signature, 4.1cm long; together with a bronze miniature double gourd encircled by vines and leaves, 6.4cm long; and a bronze kozuka decorated with a mouse on a fan with prunus, 9.7cm long.(6).
