A large Satsuma charger and a pair of similar vases
Meiji/Taisho era, early 20th centuryThe charger decorated with a large scene of courtiers and ladies in a garden pavilion, within a broad band of brocade at rim, (stress crack), 57cm diameter; and a pair of sleeve vases flaring at shoulder and above foot, enamelled with two large figural panels of samurai and scholars reserved on a ground of overlapping brocade patterns and autumn leaves, two-character mark to base, 38.1cm high.(3).
