Two agate and three other snuff bottles
Qing DynastyThe two agate snuffs both of flattened oviform, the larger on an oval footrim, 6cm high, plus stopper; the smaller banded example on a polished oval foot, 4.6cm high, plus stopper; an Yixing pottery example of flattened oviform with opposing panels overlaid and carved with designs of doves and a pair of Pekinese dogs, 6.3cm high; a flattened rectangular example in lacquer with silver wire inlaid designs of cash and ingots to one side, and inscription to reverse, raised on rectangular footrim, 5.3cm high; together with a lac-burgaute inlaid example and matching stopper, total height 5cm.
