Two Daoguang-marked enamelled porcelain snuff bottles and three others
Qing DynastyThe rounded oviform bottle depicting subjects popular at the Daoguang court, one side enamelled with a pair of doves, the other a single Pekinese by rockwork, six-character reign mark, 5.5cm high; another of similar shape decorated with Manchu horseman and dog opposite a camel and groom, Daoguang four-character mark, 5.3cm high; a slender oval-section example enamelled with flowers and foliage, 7.2cm high; a double gourd bottle enamelled with a lady seated with fan by a low table, 7.5cm high; and a conjoined-bottle snuff with dragon designs in copper red, four-character mark, 5.6cm high.
