Tibet, 19th centuryThe figure modelled striding in asana over prostrate demons, wearing a tiger-skin dhoti with serpents about the arms and legs, the hands cradling a vajra and ghanta, the ferocious face flanked with large earring and crowned with a five-pointed tiara, all raised on a lotus plinth with a flaming mandorla, unsealed base.14cm high.
