19th centuryThe table with a rectangular top inset with a figured marble 'dream-stone' panel over a waist with pierced apertures and a splayed and stepped apron carved with archaistic scroll designs, the robust square-section corner supports with scroll carved knees and feet, (old wood worm holes to panel supporting marble), 27.5cm high, 71cm wide, 48cm deep; together with a hardwood stool, fangdeng with square top set with rattan seat over a plain in-curving waist and apron carved with scroll-work and raised on square-section supports with spade feet.49cm high, 41.5cm square.
